About our President
Our company President is Matthew Menck, a native Nebraskan, who discovered his passion for electronics as
a boy - disassembling VCRs at the age of nine, just to see 'how they worked'. Over the years, he continued to
learn more about electronics, obtaining advanced knowledge and experience in the field; eventually founding
Superior Home Theater in Arizona. Matthew is a Certified Technology Specialist, having numerous technology,
industry and product certifications; and well over a thousand installations and system designs to his
credentials.
Matt was a representative for the #1 consumer electronics manufacturer in the world, Samsung. He was the
sole representative for the Samsung Consumer Electronics Division in the State of Arizona. Among his many
vital responsibilities for Samsung: managed direct marketing and technology training for all major retailers,
such as Best Buy, Sears, Ultimate Electronics, Costco, Sam's Club etc...,trained sales associates and
management staff in electronics technology and product knowledge in over 100 retail locations Valley wide,
and managing high volume sales within the Arizona Market. His time with Samsung was amazing and
insightful, allowing a thorough understanding of the industry from the manufacturers vantage!
Matthew was a presenter for Samsung at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, 2009 - the largest
electronics show in the world! This experience provided an unmatched insight into the industry.
Matt has one of the largest industry networks in the country; knowing representatives, marketing teams and
engineers throughout the United States, Europe, and Korea!
Education is extremely important to us at Superior Home Theater...continuing electronics education directly
benefits our customers, with piece of mind and professionalism. Ensuring system designs integrate properly
into the ever changing technologies environment. The 'CTS' certification, is one of the most difficult industry
certifications to achieve, and is globally recognized .It requires a minimum of 30 credit hours of continuing
education to maintain the certification - to ensure that CTS holders are effectively educated to properly serve
the public . In addition, our President is actively attending advanced degree programs in electrical engineering
and electronics engineering technology, to provide the highest level of electronics knowledge possible!
